I started this site as a way to keep family and friends updated on my journey, my work in the anti-trafficking field, and so much more.
My name is Sarah, I am from Nigeria and I am a passionate traveler. I am a consultant on advocacy and anti trafficking issues, a cultural mediator and most recently, a researcher. I am very passionate about justice and injustice matters, and I believe that our duty as honorable men and women is to show the world what love really is, not just talk about it. Over the last decade, my work and education have taking me to more than 30 countries on four continents, and the journey continues. Traveling a lot and working cross-culturally helped me to see more clearly some of the injustices in our society; and while there are so many of them, I have narrowed down my focus to research, migration issues, the anti-trafficking movement, and preventing violence against women and children.
I have heard hundreds of countless stories of women and quite a number of men as well who were raped, battered, sexually assaulted, and harassed; I cannot help every single person who has been sexually abused, but I do my best to help those who need my help as I come in contact with them. Sometimes a smile, a hug or few and a listening ear speaks more volume than a thousand words; knowing the right people or organization to refer them to is also extremely important.
Remember, we only get one life to live in this age, make yours count :). How will you make a difference today??…
